Orlando Police report drug, gun seizures and dozens of arrests

ORLANDO, FL (FNB) – Orlando Police Department officers reported significant enforcement activity over the past week, resulting in the seizure of illegal drugs, multiple firearms, and dozens of arrests.

According to the department, officers removed 11 crime guns from the streets during routine patrol and targeted enforcement efforts.

Some of the confiscated firearms were highlighted in a department social media post.

In addition to the weapons seizures, police also reported the removal of illegal drugs, though specific quantities and types were not disclosed.

As part of the same enforcement operations, officers made a total of 182 arrests.

Officials say the actions were part of ongoing efforts to reduce crime and improve public safety across the city.
